Your Discovery Call
Before your 30-minute discovery call appointment, I’ll email you a brief questionnaire to help me analyze your current marketing strategy. I request that this be completed and returned to me no less than 24 hours before our scheduled marketing discovery call. This gives me time to review the information you’ve provided. We’ll use this as a foundation to determine the strengths of your marketing efforts and identify any areas that need some TLC.
If you prefer, our initial discovery session can also take place via email exchange or video call. Let me know if you’d like an alternative option when you contact me to book a consultation. However, I cannot honor requests for discovery consultations conducted via carrier pigeon at this time.
Your Proposal
Once you’ve determined Knobby Creative Services is the ideal option to assist in elevating your marketing efforts, I’ll provide a proposal/scope of work covering the specifics of your project via email. I’ll give you a few days to review it and then reach out to see if you have any questions. I’m happy to schedule time for us to go over the proposal as well, depending on your preference. If you decide to engage my services, I will request a 50-percent deposit when you sign and return the proposal.
Your Kick-Off
Once we’ve got all the paperwork out of the way, I’ll schedule a kick-off call. Expect another questionnaire to be emailed before our appointment, focusing on your branding and persona specifications. During our call, we’ll nail down your project vision so I can create a roadmap with our milestone phases (aka our timeline). I’ll also request additional documentation from you at this time, like persona profiles and previous marketing material, if applicable. If you’re starting from scratch, don’t worry, I love working with a blank canvas.
Odds and Ends Expectations
You can expect to receive email check-ins throughout your project, letting you know when I’m moving to the next stage of the timeline.
If you reach out to me, you can expect a response within one business day, if not sooner.
Revision requests must be submitted within three business days of receiving your review draft.
Revisions do not include any special requests that were not outlined in my proposal. However, I am happy to provide a quote for additional add-on services at any time during the project timeline.
If you cancel the project after work has begun, please note that your deposit is non-refundable.
If circumstances arise on your end that delay the project, I will re-schedule you for the next available spot on my calendar when you request me to restart it. However, this could be several weeks out, depending on my current client load.
Once you have signed off on any final revision requests, I’ll invoice you for the remaining balance due for your project (net 30 terms).
Unless stated otherwise, all proposals are for copy/content writing/audit/consulting services only. Design services are drafted under a separate scope of work if requested.
I’d be thrilled to work with your preferred designer to collaborate on visually intensive projects—I aced the “playing nice with others” final exam in kindergarten.
